Remote Learning will begin on April 6 with a one-week launch, followed by three two-week learning blocks. During these learning blocks, students will work on achieving learning targets identified by grade level teachers and instructional specialists with support from their teachers.
Recommended daily engagement time grades 6-12 is 30 minutes per teacher (3 hours max in a day). Students will work with their families to set aside time daily to engage in remote learning activities and engage with their teachers to ask questions, get feedback, and access additional resources as needed. Remote learning options: +Online: Fully digital remote learning- Teacher-led learning using district-approved digital platforms. +Hybrid remote learning- Teacher-led using a combination of digital platforms and supplemental materials provided by the teacher +Non-online: Instructional materials with minimal or no technology- Teacher-provided resources and feedback. Grab and go resources will be available at school sites. A schedule will be provided by schools. |
